People sometimes do not realize the importance of our environment until it's gone. No wonder the animals fear the human, humans can sometimes be so greedy that leads to the extinction of the animals around us.
One of the endangered species in Bali is the Sumatran Elephants. The Sumatran Elephant is one of the rarest elephants in the world. Now, there is only less than 1,100 Indonesian Elephants running in the wild and it is decreasing quite rapidly. Sumatran Elephants are actually the smallest elephant in Asia, unlike Dumbo, these elephants has a smaller ear. They eat only plants such as bananas, bamboo, leaves, and ginger. Deforestation and destruction of the habitat of the Sumatran is the principal reason for the extinction of these elephants. And the other reason is the starvation of the elephants, because of deforestation the elephants doesn't have enough food to eat. There are
ways to help the Sumatran Elephants. The Elephant Safari Park has been assisting in the preservation of these elephants. They have been selling elephant paintings, and then relocate wild elephants to a reserved place from the Indonesian Government. We can help them by donating some to the Elephant Safari Park and also by preserving our nature. Let's give these elephants their home back. Visit those saved elephants at Bali and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Indonesia.
