Are You Ready For FA Cup Finals?
The FA Cups Finals will be held in Wembley Stadium on May 17, 2008, 3 PM. It is done in honor of the past FA Cup Finals done in 1871 and 1872 season. The competition kicked off last November and started with 700 teams. In the past, 42 different clubs has won the trophy. But the top three clubs has dominated the game, Tottenham Hotspur with eight wins, Arsenal with ten wins, and Manchester with a total of 11 wins.
The brand new stadium replaced the iconic twin towers that had made Wembley famous and
the most important sports venue in the world. Wembley Stadium of London re-opened last 2007 and still continues to be one of the biggest names in sports and entertainment world.
The FA Cup is being sponsored by E.ON. The award is presented to an outstanding player starting from the qualifying round to the semi-finals. Each player will be given a VIP treatment on May 17 and presented with trophy and a kit bag of training equipments. Five players were nominated for the Player of the Round namely Ishmael Miller, Brian Howard, Peter Whittingham, Glen Johnson, and Kayode Odejayi. Cast your vote to help your favorite player to win the title. Voting ends on March 18, 2008, 9AAM.
